...Very Heavy Rainfall this Afternoon...
.A strong cold front is approaching New England from the west. As
this front encounters a very warm and humid airmass...multiple
rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop. Very
heavy rainfall rates are likely with any storms that develop...
which will increase the threat for flash flooding...particularly
in areas of poor drainage.

THROUGH THIS EVENING...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of southwest Maine and New Hampshire, including the
following areas, in southwest Maine, Coastal York and Interior
York. In New Hampshire, Cheshire, Coastal Rockingham, Eastern
Hillsborough, Interior Rockingham, Merrimack, Strafford, and
Western And Central Hillsborough.
* From Noon EDT Today through this Evening
* Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon with very heavy rainfall rates. Despite recent dry
weather...heavy rainfall rates will increase the threat of flash
flooding...particularly in areas of poor drainage.

to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
